Job Title: Junior Journalist (Digital Business News)
Location: Dubai
We're seeking a talented content writer and journalist to join the team of an expanding international media company, with news offices in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience writing news and conducting interviews. You'll have an opportunity to work for a small, fast-growing publication that's part of a large UK based new business.
Responsibilities:
* Produce original, well-researched articles and features on business news in Dubai and beyond, with a focus on B2B.
* Cultivate and manage contacts to source exclusive news and industry insights.
* Conduct interviews with industry leaders and experts to provide readers with unique perspectives and insights.
* Work closely with the editorial team to ensure that the content is timely, accurate, and relevant to our audience.
* Utilize digital media and social media channels to promote our content and engage with readers.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
* At least one year of experience writing for a B2B publication or similar.
* BA degree in Media, Journalism or English.
* Excellent research and analytical skills to identify and interpret complex business information.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry figures.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
* Comfortable with hybrid working - working from home and in-office.
