JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Oil and Gas industry in Uzbekistan. The successful candidate will play a critical role in project scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring timely project delivery within budget constraints.
• Develop and manage project schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
• Track progress, highlight delays, and propose recovery plans.
• Maintain PMS updates and coordinate weekly reporting to clients.
• Prepare and distribute progress reports Daily, weekly and monthly, or as required by the client, that shall compare actual progress with scheduled progress for the overall project
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and the client, detailing progress, challenges and solutions, commercial status, risks etc
• Support tendering process, bid proposals, and pre-qualifications for new tenders
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree is required as a minimum• 6+ years of experience in planning & control in Oil & Gas
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost control tools
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, EVM, and KPIs
• Certifications like PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, CCP, PSP are a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Fluency in Russian or Uzbek is highly desirable
