TEAM LEADER/ SENIOR RESIDENT ENGINEER

We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader /RE ( Resident Engineer ) Highways for a position with our client an international engineering consultancy for a Highways project based in Uzbekistan.
PLEASE: Only apply for this position if you have fluent or advanced Russian Language Skills AND experience in CIS Countries.

Project Duration: 48 months: 10 months Design Review, 36 months construction supervision, 2 months defect liability period
Assignment Start: Date: June 2024

SALARY
• This is a full-time permanent position with a well-known engineering consultancy based in Uzbekistan for a Team Leader RE Highways
• A salary of $6000-$7000 per month negotiable. This can be discussed on a case-by-case basis and is negotiable for the right person.
• Plus additional package, accommodation and transport
• Medical insurance cover is provided on top of the basic salary
• Mobilisation flights and visa costs.
• Preference is for Single Status candidates. Married Status may be considered by our client in some cases.

Salary:
USD 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

REQUIREMENTS- Please apply if you meet ALL of the requirements for this vacancy
• Candidates MUST have a minimum of 15 years of experience (15 years post degree qualification) in the design and Construction supervision of highways projects and have held the title Team Leader or Senior Resident Engineer for Highways projects with an Engineering Consultancy.
• We are not seeking Main Contractor candidates for this International job Vacancy.
• PLUS at least 5 years experience in the design and construction supervision of rigid pavements.
• A strong knowledge of FIDIC Contracts experience.
• At least 8 years of total knowledge must be on international Highways construction projects,
• Previous experience in CIS Countries is an essential requirement.
• A degree qualification BSc in a relevant construction or Engineering discipline such as Civil Engineering.
• A Masters qualification is also preferred but not essential
• You should have the ability and experience as a Team Leader or Resident Engineer to manage a team of engineers on a demanding project
• Solid client liaison experience at a Senior Level working with an Engineering Consultancy.
• Language fluency: Russian advanced or intermediate level
