VAC7360 - IP Transport Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To support to ensure all OML Telecom infrastructures are connected via IPMPLS technology, OML NPV of IPMPLS is 20 MUSD growing yearly and need to maintain asset and control of vendors

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To prepare the analysis of short-term or long-term capacity needs for switching, routing transmission and signaling
- To monitor performance & capacity of network scalability and maintain network security at good level.
- To monitor IP NEs, links utilization and trigger upgrade as per agreed utilization.
- To forecast dimension IPMPLS network based on core, RAN or new marketing and coordinate with partners for IGW BW expansions.
- To support procurement and legal team during RFP or contract preparation, to finalize the technical scope of work KPIs and SLAs into contract or agreement.
- To maintain HW and services inventory, order equipment ahead of time at least at 70% utilization or existing HW.
- To align with OG to get approval on HLD, BoQ for long term and short term planning with fiber DWDM, MW, Core, and IT for any required design.
- To manage SLA and audit performance of vendors. Delegate tasks and projects to subordinates and follow up on completions.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSc in Computer Science or BE IT or BE EC (Minimum CCNP R&S or CCNP Service Provider Certified or CCIE advantage)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in planning for network scalability and upgrades for a 3 years or 5 years strategic plan
- Strong experience in IP networking fundamentals and application of IP routing protocols. (MPLS/BGP/IS-IS/OSPF).
- Hands-on experience of deploying and maintaining wide area networks with emphasis on BGP/OSPF/IS-IS/MPLS with experience administering these protocols in small, large and distributed network
- Fluency in English and Myanmar Language both spoken and written is mandatory
- Excellent communications, presentation and analytical skills
