MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join them on Data Centre Projects in Amsterdam.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Manage all commercial and contractual aspects of M&E packages, including cost planning, procurement, value engineering, and final account negotiation.
• Prepare and agree monthly valuations, variation accounts, and change control documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
• Assess and approve M&E subcontractor payment applications, variations, and claims, ensuring alignment with contract terms and project scope.
• Maintain accurate cost reports, forecasts, and cash flows, reporting regularly to the commercial lead and contributing to financial reviews.
• Support procurement of M&E subcontractors and suppliers, including tender analysis, scope review, and contract award recommendations.
• Work closely with M&E design and delivery teams to understand scope changes and identify commercial risks and opportunities early.
• Contribute to contract administration and commercial resolution of issues such as delay claims, scope disputes, and contract variations.
• Ensure all project commercial records, correspondence, and documentation are maintained in accordance with internal procedures and audit standards.

• A formal qualification in quantity surveying.
• A minimum of 7 years experience in quantity surveying or commercial management.
• Experience working with both mechanical and electrical packages on large scale projects.
• Data Centre experience is desirable.
• EU passport is desired but not required.

Salary:
EUR 9,000 to 10,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
