Procurement Manager

Job description / Role

International Buildings Contractor is looking to appoint a Procurement Leader for one of the most architecturally challenging & iconic buildings in Europe. This project involves new build, refurbishment of adjoining buildings & a super structure 150 Meters High. Working closely with the Project Director our client are seeking a hands on doer opposed to delegator as this will be a small team on site. Prior EU Experience is key of iconic & ideally high rise projects.

One of the most iconic & challenging high rise projects to be awarded in Holland over the past 20 Years! Our International Contractor has a pedigree for delivering iconic & fascinating build projects across Europe. If major Projects within Residential, Commercial & Government work interest you then this is a client for you. There sweet spot is generally € 100-350 as Principal Contractor & €400-750 in Joint Venture.

Salary:
EUR 5,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: TAX Free in Europe Plus Apartment , Flights & Medical

Requirements

In the past 12 Months this contractor has gone from strength to strength for AWARDS across Europe and especially in the Dutch Market. The Area Manager is personally looking to appoint a strong Procurement Lead to hands on manage & drive the process. This is not the role for someone with a team of 10 looking to delegate everything as is done in certain overseas markets. You will personally reach out and meet (Virtually) keep sub contractors on the supply chain. Certain sub contractors will be international due to the drawings & spec desired non such a luxury project.

This project has a 4 Year program which indicates that the client want a good quality product and they are not looking to rush or box bash these apartments. Think top end 5* quality and you will understand the specifications and finish desired. This project will be deemed as one of the most exclusive residential developments in Europe with 76% of properties already sold off plan!

Our client is seeking the following:

- Strong Communicator
- Minimum of 10 Years within Procurement – High End Buildings for a Main Contractor
- Experience of awarding sub contracts, handling RFQ’s
- Handling a fast paced client & consultant when needed
