Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time


• Determine market demand for Group’s products and services and develop strategies on how to drive their uptake by the market.
• Coordinate sales and tendering process for the Group to clients with the aim of driving increase in the
• Group’s market share as well as share of the client’s pocket
• To ensure strategic/marketing decision-making is supported by an accurate, efficient and effective marketing/financial modelling information support system, as well as leveraging internal and external research.
• To position the Group at the forefront of innovation within the Oil and Gas’ sector, through the development and creation of new revenue streams that will grow Average Revenue Per Unit.
• Responsible for leadership, creativity, and planning required to achieve strategic goals; and for developing tactics that will enable the Group to maintain existing client relationships and market share, whilst expanding into new markets.
• Provide strategic direction for the development of new and business innovations that are focused on providing maximum benefits for existing clients and returns for shareholders.
• Define the Group's brand, strengthen marketing, build and implement departmental functions designed to achieve revenue targets.
• Provide oversight on the marketing of products/ services for existing and prospective customers
• Ensure that sales force act as first line customer service support to the Group’s customers, addressing needs and issues/challenges raised by customers.
• Ensure customers are billed timely and drive collection of customer receivables.
• Determine channels to drive market penetration and uptake, cross- and deep-selling of the Group’s product and services.
• Carry out periodic reviews of sales targets to actual performance, determine cause of noted gaps and develop strategies to address/bridge identified gaps.
• Assist in determination of pricing of the Group’s pricing strategy.
• Assist in the determination and development of customer segmentation for the Group and ensure that sales perspective is brought to bear in the offering for each segment.
• Develop relationships with major accounts and serve as their first line relationship manager.
• Monitor changes in buyer values and devise strategies to capitalize on them.
• Assist in conducting surveys to gain insight into customers’ experience and thoughts about products and services.
• Proactively detect client needs, market trends and opportunities in conjunction with the Market
• Intelligence and Product Development unit and develop appropriate action plans as required.
• Monitor and report key account performance and suggest ways of rewarding them.
• Custodian of comprehensive database of information on all existing and prospective customers.
• Manage and control unit’s budget.
• Establish and monitor the achievement of targets by the sales officers.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the MD as required

USD 4,000 to 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

• Candidate must posses a Degree in Engineering; Experience of 8 - 10 years in Managerial level; experience in GCC market.
• Highly preference for candidates with oil and gas servicing company experience.
