My client is looking for a procurement assistant who has been working in the construction industry for at least 5 years within heavy Civil Engineering for main contractors.

You will join a revolutionary joint venture, uniting top international firms renowned for their expertise in delivering complex transportation & infrastructure projects. Some of the brightest civil engineers from the World are based on this project so come and join them.

The Project
• Project is worth €1 billion Euros +
• Based in Bergen, Norway
• Reporting directly into the Head of Procurement
• Handle a range of activities from Material & Sub-contract procurement

Project involves everything from tunnels to marine works, piers, highways, and bridges, offering an unparalleled opportunity to gain world-class Major Project Experience!

Overview of the role
• As a Procurement Assistant you will be involved in all aspects from
• Vendor Approval Processes
• Managing RFQ
• Propose and manage new suppliers and registrations
• Analyze prices and technical capabilities
• Updating all systems & database
• Attending industry events to understand trends & new offerings
• Liaise with the contract department to issue awards

• Degree Desired but not essential
• 5 Years relevant construction procurement experience
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction processes, contracts, and procurement methodologies
• Exhibit exceptional analytical and commercial acumen
• Able to present and display effective communication and negotiation skills

Salary:
EUR 6250 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
