Job description / Role
Accountant Up To 2.6k Usd For An E-Commerce (Fashion) Company In Oman
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting projects
Requirements
• POSITION: Accountant
• SALARY: up to 2,600 USD / 1000 OMR full package depending on qualifications and experience
• HIRING COMPANY: E-Commerce Company (Fashion)
• LOCATION: Muscat, Oman
• AVAILABILITY: Immediately available will be prioritized (1 month-max)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Male/Female, 40 years old and below
• Open to overseas candidates
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent, Accounting certification is a plus
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
• Minim of 3 years of experience in an E-Commerce company, GCC experience will be preferred
• Well-versed in using Accounting Software like Tally, ERP, SAP or Oracle
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Detail-oriented and has strong analytical and decision making skills
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
