Job description / Role
Audit Plan
- Assist the Managers to prepare the detailed audit plan to cover the entire audit universe by prioritizing the audits based on risk exposure, significance, and the quality of internal control environments that exist to mitigate risks;
Audit operations
- Plan, participate and conduct internal audits to ensure that risk areas are adequately identified and audited (including regular meetings with audit team);
Policies & Procedures
- Support the Manager in his role to coordinate with user departments to understand the operations and to assist them to prepare their operational policies and procedures in line with the corporate policies and procedures.
Risk Management
- Regularly monitor the operations of the company with the supervision of the Managers to identify exposure to financial, operational and compliance risks in order to proactively mitigate the risk or arrive at practical solution for uncontrollable risks;
Quality Assurance
- Assist the Manager to implement the quality assurance program to ensure conformance to IIA Professional Practice Framework (PPF);
People Development
- Lead and guide subordinates by allocating responsibilities and assist by provide technical guidance to ensure that all subordinates are well groomed for higher positions
Assist the Managers to
- Implement a process of continuous review and improvement throughout the department;
- Coordinate with external-state auditors to identify areas where assistance is needed; and
- Coordinate with third party consultants for co-sourced - outsourced engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in a related discipline preferably in Finance, Business Studies, Management, Engineering or IT with Professional accreditation as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) having 6 years of experience in Internal Audit preferable in airline industry of which 2 years as a Lead Internal Auditor
