Job description / Role
Guildhall has secured a contract as the exclusive headhunt partner for a major real estate development in Oman.
We are looking for a Project Manager Manager to lead the building construction department on this landmark project.
We are looking for candidates with buildings experience along with a background working for a real estate developer or a PMC/Engineering Consultancy to carry out the following:
- Assisting in the development of the project management strategy and delivery.
- Assisting and involvement in the procurement of sub consultants and contractors required for all of the building packages.
- Helping to plan and to organise for the projects.
- Reporting to management on daily updates about the status of the project implementation.
- Reviewing tender, recommendation and eventual award of these packages.
- Assisting in the design management, delivery, quality time, cost and hand over of these key packages.
- Managing the sub-consultants and your supervisors and drive the nominated sub-contractors.
- Managing an extended professional team consisting of local and international, consultants, sub-consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders from time to time as it will be a client-facing role.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Previous experience working with a PMC or Developer as a Project Manager
- 10+ years experience in building construction management
- Previous experience in Oman
- Ideally currently based in Oman
