Charterhouse is working with a UK headquartered law firm who is looking to hire an experienced Corporate Associate with c. 4 – 6 PQE to work with a highly regarded in the firm’s Oman corporate practice. The firm would be interested in a high quality Common Law qualified Junior / Mid-level Associate to undertake a broad ranging corporate / private equity transactional role.
The role will involve working closely with the corporate Partners in the firm’s Muscat office, as well as part of the wider Middle East and international network. The firm is long standing in the Oman / Middle East market, with a good reputation and client base. The firm is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to undertake M&A, private equity, JV’s, ECM and corporate advisory work as required. This is an excellent opportunity to join well established law firm in the Oman market with clear long-term career developments prospects and the opportunity to work on high profile deals on offer for an ambitious individual.
The successful candidate should be a Common Law qualified Corporate Solicitor with c.4 – 6 years post qualification experience gained at an international / legal directories ranked law firm and experience of dealing with a broad range of corporate work. The work will involve acting for high profile clients and complex matters, so demonstrable experience of leading on transactions is essential, combined with excellent academics. Arabic language skills are desirable, but not required. The firm is interested in a Common Law qualified Lawyer, either already based in the Middle East or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia, New Zealand etc. Excellent tax free remuneration and package on offer to attract a high calibre individual.
