DCS Engineer

Job description / Role

• Provides engineering design, troubleshooting and maintenance of Distributed Control System (DCS)
• Troubleshoots day-to-day process problems related to controls/controller tuning and batch recipes execution
• Supports Process Hazard Analysis and implements process changes through a Management of Change process
• Maintains up-to-date documentation for the DCS
• Conducts training programs for operators on the DCS
• Initiates and manages DCS hardware, software and Process Control Network upgrades

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control/Chemical from an accredited university
• Minimum 7 years of related work experience in DCS in the refinery, petrochemical or chemical industry
• Strong analytical/trouble-shooting skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently, in a team and in a diverse environment
• Salary – competitive / no bar for right candidate
