Director - Capability & Program Implementation Management

Job description / Role

Ooredoo Oman Family Member:

As the Director Capability & Program Implementation Management you will be responsible of directing, planning and managing the implementation and strategy for the acquisition and development of the network infrastructure ( cell sites, technical facilities, technical buildings, fibre optics) in key locations to give the company the best possible advantage in meeting the customer's requirements and leveraging the network assets value and availability allowing Ooredoo Oman to meet all the needs.

Core Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of coordinating with other department for the elaboration of Ooredoo Oman strategy in implementing a high standard network resulting by a high service offered, Establish the network implementation strategy in accordance with Ooredoo Oman great lines and services taking in consideration the budget and schedules for the expansion plans related to sites or data centres ensuring there is sufficient forward planning to meet short and long term requirements, developing and driving implementation of a strategy which will enable the organisation to serve its customers by maintaining a first rate network infrastructure for the business enabling it to conduct its business efficiently and effectively, managing the day to day team progress and efficiency, insure the implementation of the HR policy, implementing the technical knowledge between the teams. Leverage the potential, creating potential savings by a close budget management of such a unit in terms of equipment and supplier selection, planning and execution within the budget combined with the best practice on contract negotiation and vendor's management, developing a strong team to acquire the cell sites on time insuring the respect of the budget allocated, Implementing the best governance procedures on the relation with sites owner in line of the best interest of Ooredoo Oman business, developing a strong and effective Roll Out management function which will ensure the good governance and time line implementation for sites to be commercially on time. Insure the implementation strategy by the best selection of the contractors and equipment vendors Review the progress and give the guideline for fast implementation according the industry practice and in line with the technical specs within the schedules and budget timelines, developing a strong technical team able to manage the technical hosting building implementation, ensure the implementation time lines as per the budget and technical specification in view of the reliability and service level of the network, assessing the risks related to each building and provide recommendation and insure the implementation of the procedures according to the industry standards, follows and drives through quality audit rules Insuring the implementation of the high standards of quality audit according to the best practice and specifications resulting of a high network quality and better costumer services, follows and drive the implementation of a Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring the well being of both its employees and its customers, and the safety of both its staff and premises, ensuring rules and procedures are in place to give a clear vision for the staff on the guidance's to follow to accomplish their scopes, developing, managing and monitor the OPEX and CAPEX Budget ensuring that it is managed effectively and no unaccounted for expenses occur. In view if the future plan and guidance's of Ooredoo Oman management and feeding back the high management of Ooredoo Oman with the information and parameters allowing them to take the correct decision and approvals in the best interest of Ooredoo Oman costumers and stakeholders

Requirements

The Person:

You should have a minimum of 12 to 15 years' experience mainly on the network deployment infrastructure from mobile sites construction, tower building, and fibre optic deployment, in building solution implementation to technical switch building project execution and all related discipline such as electro mechanicals, telecom and IT equipment installation with a university degree in Engineering Compiled.

Skill Required:

Good MS Office skills.Problem solving skills. Excellent Project management skills. Good Communication skills. Very good written and spoken English
