Employment: Full Time

Operational

- Responsible for the management of the activities taking place within a shift in ground operation, overseeing all key decisions and communication processes to ensure effective operation.
- Monitor, maintain and oversee entire GOCC main activities covering: VHF communication, NOTAM-MET warning, VIP MVT, flight movement tracking, communications internally and externally; manage emergencies; OTP and KPIs monitoring for all arrivals-departure; etc.
- Ensure resource are available to meet the operation requirements.
- Coordinate daily flights activities between all Operating Departments and other stockholders at Muscat Airport.
- Monitor and ensure On Time Performance (OTP) and other KPIs target are met.
- Ensure daily flight activity logs are accurate for proper invoicing.
- Maintain close and effective business relationships with customer, and various control authorities such as Airport Management, Customs, and Immigration.
- Communicate with all levels of management, customers and other stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner to insure that the flow of services to the customer airlines is efficient and effective.
- Monitor and ensure On Time Performance (OTP) and other KPIs target are met.
- Ensure daily flight activity logs are accurate for proper invoicing.
- Maintain close and effective business relationships with customer, and various control authorities such as Airport Management, Customs, and Immigration
- Assures all employees comply with company rules and procedures and other authority requirements
- Ensure every customer flight is under operational control and service level are achieved with quality service.
- Act on incoming communication relating to operation requirements and follow up action as required and co-ordinate with other sections.
- Serve as a focal point of contact in an event of Emergency and responsible to disseminate nature of emergency to the key personnel and senior management team.
- Manager the GOCC during disruption and represent the company during crisis and abnormalities.
- Apply for over flight-landing permission through DGCA upon carriers request
- Keep all operational manuals-Aeronautical Information Publications relating to operations in Oman up to date
- Inform carriers of known projects affecting the operational projects
- Maintain a high standard of discipline among staff.
- Forward activity report to the management to cover important event during the shift and carry out proper record and briefing during hand over and take over
- Raise statistical records and reports as required by the management
- Conduct disciplinary or discrepancy issues related to the section and raise reports to the management.
- Maintain adequate stock of stationary and safeguard all WY property

General

- Comply with safety and security regulations.
- Ensure company memo’s ,airline manuals, are regularly read to update current procedures and regulations
- Carry out duties on all areas of GOCC section as directed by MGOCC
- Working detail guidelines will be provided where applicable.
- Deputize MGOCC when required.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in an related discipline with 6 years of relevant experience
- OR Two years college diploma in an related discipline with 10 years of relevant experience IATA certificate for station management Flight Dispatcher License Preferably
