Electrical Building Services Inspector, responsible for carrying out inspections of electrical services installation, and ability to review shop drawings and check that materials are as per the specification. Ability to set commissioning requirements for Electrical services systems and monitor contractor T&C.

Responsibilities
• Responded to contractor’s RFI & FCR
• Responsible for review the single line diagram and detail design for the project
• Review the installation method statement for project
• Review shop drawing & as built drawing
• Review operation and maintenance manual (O&M)
• Ensure safe working at all the times and that zero accidents are maintained for all project staff
• Supervise and inspected all electric activities
• Supervise and inspection of Installation of cable tray, ladder, basket, GI conduit
• Supervise and inspection of all the cables/wires pulling, laying and dressing
• Inspection of cable termination for wires/cables
• Supervise and inspection of fixed normal light, emergency light, track light and exit light
• Supervise and inspection of Panel and DBs (MSB, MCP, ATS, SSB, DB) including termination
• Supervise and inspection all the methods of installation HV, transformers and generator
• Supervise and inspection all the methods of installation HV, transformers and generator
• Supervise and inspection Installation of device for low current system (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, BMS,DPP)
• Prepare comments for inspection request to make hand over for the project
• Prepares the necessary records and reports of all inspection and non-compliance records (NCR)
• Inspect on -site and off-site material which will be used in the project
• Update material and shop drawing submittal Log Sheet
• Compiling weekly quality reports for site work
• Monitor the progress of work against the approved plan
• Inspects and reports of any damage parts or equipment
• Ensure that contractor follows environmental, safety and health programs
• Megger testing for Panel Boards (MSB ,MCP,ATS,SSB,DB)
• Function check for panels
• Continuity, megger test for power cable
• Earth pit cables continuity test

Testing and Commissioning
• Witness pre commissioning &commissioning of all electrical system to be sure that all tests are running according to the approved procedures
• Testing and commissioning of Fire alarm system, Disabled refuge alarm system
• Disabled toilet alarm system
• Testing and commissioning of Lighting system, Lighting control system, Emergency light system
• Testing and commissioning of CCTV system, Access control system
• Testing and commissioning of Earthing system, Lighting protection system

Requirements

• Degree qualified – minimum requirement
• 10-12 years minimum experience in electrical site related works
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English is essential
• Team work and management
• Ability to work under challenging environment and tight timescales

• Experience in delivering complex projects
