Field Base Manager
Field Base Manager - ESP's - Oman - Field Services
Our client, a global provider of engineering and field services for ESP's requires a Field Base Manager to join them on a permanent residential basis in Oman on a rotation schedule of 14 days on 14 days off.
The main responsibilities are to develop and implement field procedures; installation, commissioning, pull out, monitoring, failure analysis, and optimization. Manage field quality control to maintain the highest standard of service. Train and develop skills of field service team. Planning and scheduling ESP workovers according to for rig/hoist activity. Support and participate in Company & Client HSE Awareness.
Promote a safe working environment. Schedule maintenance, certification & calibration of all tooling. Supervising the purchase of tools and equipment. Supervision of ESP installations. Support in surface equipment repair/ troubleshooting. Coordinate wells optimization/ troubleshooting process.
Manage and coordinate field operations and inventory, Participate in routine field meetings/tool-box talks, Lead optimization/troubleshooting analysis, Coordinate the daily field operations with the client.
Focal point for client advice/support (field), Control field documentation and reports, Core member of KPI Performance Team, Inventory planning. Coordination of teardown equipment, Failure mode analysis, Develop/implement field procedures, Implement quality management process.
Suitable candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of supervisory experience with Electrical Submersible Pump’s preferred, Understand pump curves and be capable of accurate calculations, Electrical experience required.
Good communication, technical and problem solving skills. Knowledge of machinery and equipment as it relates to ESP, possess strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of HSE policies and guidelines.
