The project:
A major urban development project comprising of new homes, commercial properties, public spaces and smart urban mobility. Mace have the opportunity to develop and lead and implement the PMO structure to deliver this city development.

Proactively captures business requirements for changes to systems and processes, working across the business translating requirements into system solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Develops detailed understanding of existing business processes, together with the supporting systems functionality and data.
• Identifies and champions with c-suite stakeholders’ opportunities for and promotes the benefits of process simplification, technology enhancements and operating model changes across the business
• Partners with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts, working in collaboration to across engines.
• Captures business requirements in a clear and unambiguous fashion using standard methods and templates.
• Creates and defines process maps as-is and to-be business process flows
• Translates business requirements into clear functional systems requirements
• Challenges business and technology stakeholders to find more efficient and simpler solutions
• Acts as a thought leader, providing external perspective of best practice and/or innovation from other sectors
• Directs the delivery of smaller projects (design, build, test, handover) where a dedicated Project Manager is not required.
• Provides performance management, technical and career development and coaching.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

• Relevant degree qualification.
• Proven experience working on city development, programme, projects.
• Knowledge transfer and mentoring experience.

You’ll also have:
• Professional membership or working towards demonstrable professional or personal development.
• Experience in the successful delivery phase of relevant projects and programmes.
• Programme management expertise.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
• Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
