General Manager - Wet Food

Job description / Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a privately owned large manufacturing company as their GM managing their manufacturing operations across Oman and KSA.

- You will own the P&L for this manufacturing region,
- Manage production managers, engineer managers and maintenance engineering managers
- Implement six sigma and lean and iso
- Lead on best practice within food manufacturing
- Cost management
- Full optimization management
- Recruit new staff
- Implement change and improvement

Requirements

- Candidates must currently head up more than 1 site in the GCC Region and be specifically producing wet food
- You will have at least 15 years food production experience 8 of which managing various sites
- You will have extensive p&l management experience
- You must have worked with LEAN or Six sigma
- An extensive background in ideally sauces and wet food,
- An extensive background in managing experienced production maintenance quality and manufacturing managers
- Significant best practice experience within food manufacturing
- Solid engineering background
- Must be currently at GM level
