Job description / Role

Role Summary:
Offers the opportunity as an experienced Geotechnician to join the team in Muscat, Oman.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Under direct supervision, perform the main responsibility, not limited, to produce the final deliverables of the field products from both drilling systems and wireline systems
• Geotechnicians are responsible for Log Quality Analysis (LQA) processes and procedures and an online quality monitoring of all the products are expected from him. Reporting and timely action on any complications to reduce impact on data delivery
• Very good communication skill to keep directly in touch with engineers on operations and management in town to ensure and reduce information gaps
• Procuring programs from client, to deliver finalized result, receiving score card and finally archiving the data is the entire gamut of operation that comes under Geotechnician position

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Diploma Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Fresh graduate or less than 1-year work experience in Engineering

Desired Characteristics:
• Some technical knowledge of marketing research will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with computer/software packages Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
