Job purpose

The Head of Investor Relations and ESG is responsible for leading stakeholder engagement, building trust with the investment community, and steering the companyu2019s sustainability agenda. This role ensures transparency, high-quality reporting, and effective communication with investors, analysts, lenders, regulators, and community stakeholders. In addition, the position oversees the ESG and sustainability strategy, driving performance across the business to support long-term growth and value creation.

Key responsibilities

Investor relations and stakeholder management

• Lead investor relations strategy in collaboration with senior management.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and world-class external reporting, regulatory announcements, and market-sensitive disclosures.
• Develop investor materials, including annual reports, investor packs, corporate presentations, and website content.
• Manage investor targeting, analyst outreach, capital markets days, and investor conferences.
• Monitor analyst forecasts, market valuation, and peer reports, providing insight to executive management.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, banks, rating agencies, analysts, and investors.
• Prepare Board reports on investor relations activity and market perception.
• Coordinate crisis communications when required.

Reporting

• Lead the design and implementation of group-level financial and performance reporting.
• Deliver timely and accurate management reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Continuously improve reporting systems and processes.
• Own the reporting calendar and ensure consistency and clarity of content.

Sustainability and ESG

• Provide leadership on sustainability policies, standards, and frameworks across the business.
• Oversee the development and implementation of ESG initiatives in line with group priorities.
• Lead sustainability reporting, including the annual sustainability report and KPIs.
• Engage with stakeholders, regulators, and communities on ESG strategy and performance.
• Ensure sustainability considerations are integrated into business planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 13 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in senior management.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, performance management, and capital planning.
• Demonstrated experience in investor relations, stakeholder engagement, or financial communications.
• Solid understanding of international reporting standards, sustainability frameworks, and ESG regulations.
• Previous exposure to the energy or oil and gas industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• High proficiency in English (Arabic desirable).
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with financial modelling tools advantageous.
