HSE Supervisor

Job description / Role

We are looking for an HSE supervisor for one of our clients with the following details:

Location: Sohar, Oman
Start date: ASAP
Estimated service duration: 12 months (renewable)
Service status: Resident (5 days per week)

Qualification and experience required:
Professional experience (years): more than 12 years.
Experience in similar position (years): more than 7 years.
Language: Arabic

Missions

The job holder is part of the HSE team on the PROJECT LNG construction site which interfaces with EPSCC contractors to supervise, coordinate, and advise the implementation of site HSE management system during the EPSCC phase, in line with Exhibit L HSE requirements and Project HSE plan.

Missions of the job holder are to:

• Interface with site HSE teams of EPSCC contractors and subcontractors, Sohar Industrial Port Company (SIPC), and local Omani authorities for PROJECT LNG constructions.
• Ensure that HSE risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated to as low as reasonably practicable level. The job holder will document the assessment process, monitor, and liaise with EPSCC contractors to implement prevention and/or mitigation measures. Supervise EPSCC contractors to communicate HSE risk assessment to relevant workers during the construction phase.
• Ensure that EPSCC contractors implement their HSE management system based on the approved HSE plans, procedures, and contractual requirements in Exhibit L HSE requirements.
• Ensure that EPSCC contractors monitor HSE performance indicators and report their status to PROJECT LNG project and perform HSE internal audits and inspections as per schedule.
• Actively contribute to delivering PROJECT LNG project on schedule and budget and meet the HSE targets and objectives.
