Job description / Role
- In liaison with Engineering & Maintenance and Flight Operations to make sure that aircraft fleet are fumigated professionally and effectively before exceeding the allocated time frame.
- Ensure that aircraft insect prevention programme is followed effectively.
- Monitor and review existing fumigation practices and apply corrective measures as appropriate.
- Ensure aircraft exterior and interior cleaning operations are conducted in compliance with the approved procedures and meets H&S targets.
- Ensure that aircraft hygiene meets guest expectations and strive to improve continuously to become the best in the region.
- Ensure that aircraft appearance reassure guests with a good, clean impression, and our careful attention to detail means nothing gets overlooked either inside or outside.
- Develop staff to ensure that they are fully utilising the skills as well as coach and develop staff to improve individual and team performance.
- Drive continuous improvement to maximize efficiencies through development of people, processes and systems.
- Ensure that the interior and exterior appearance of the operated fleet meets guest expectations and to ensure compliance with PACA regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and direction to the hygiene community to ensure that people are engaged, focused and delivering their potential.
- Ensure that all provisions are put in place to provide an acceptable cabin interior temperature, when aircraft are on the ground at MCT Airport.
- Complete investigations as and when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in related discipline having 8 years of relevant work experience preferably in the aviation industry of which 3 years in a Managerial position.
- Master degree in the related filed / discipline will be advantage.
