Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Ensures GHA has adequate resources – man power and equipment’s.
- Roster patterns needs to be maintained and monitored to ensure seamless ops
- Ensures cordial relations are maintained with all stake holders for all round knowledge and development.
- Attends all important stake holders meet of the airport operator to be updated with the infrastructure developments-changes.
- Hold daily-weekly and monthly meetings with unit heads of the GHA.
- Hold monthly review discussions with down line staff for better assessment of the GHA functioning
- Reviews any shortfalls and implements effective control system to streamline ops
- Effectively plan a SMS scheme to avoid any untoward safety incidents
- Plans periodic audits to implement-enhance any updated requirements
- Has periodic discussions with the team to understand and develop staff growth requirements which would result in work output of the team
- Has attitude on cost reduction methods to have an edge to manage overheads
- Keep management updated on the various happenings of the day to day functions
- Update management on any latest equipment’s-techniques needed-useful to enhance baggage handling standards.
- Keeps a watch on the GHA management changes and updates and report the same to WY – management.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in related discipline with 8 years of relevant work experience preferably with airline experience on Airport Operations.
- Or Specialised certificate / License in the related field with Secondary School and having 14 years of WY / Aviation experience in similar functions.
