Your role as a Manager in Financial Advisory, will focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, as well as sales and practice development. In this role, you will develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters, and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service

During your tenure as a Manager in Financial Advisory, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
• Understands and applies quality assurance and risk management procedures in all areas of work performed
• Ability to build mathematical representation of various clients’ scenarios and generate robust insights to drive data-driven decision making
• Ability to analyze financial statements, manage budgets and resources, forecast accurately, while remaining compliant with the organizational and legal guidelines
• Ability to understand the concepts of valuations of business entities, assets in order to help client’s management identify and manage business and transaction issues, analyze alternatives and execute solutions
• Identifies and solves problems objectively using analysis, experience and judgment
• Prepares and manages work plans to ensure efficient and timely completion of work
• Ability to lead a diverse team of talented performance enhancement advisors
• Ability to lead the development of analysis and reports for clients
• Ability to manage the development of supporting analysis including financial models
• Ability to cultivate relationships with clients and possess a strong knowledge in leveraging prevalent methodologies
• Ability to employ a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability
• Ability to develop your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a business advisor
• Ability to contribute to practice growth and development
• Ability to coach and mentor practitioners to their highest potential

As a Financial Advisory Manager you will:
• Work with the wider FA teams in Oman and across ME to deliver projects involving a wide array of FA expertise including Valuations, Feasibility studies, and Due diligence amongst others.
• Manage and lead aspects of projects and be responsible for delivering an exceptional service to clients, every time.
• Support with business development, be in the market and build relationships with clients.
• Take charge of your career and develop your expertise in a specialization and your reputation as a business advisor
• Undertake work related to proposal preparation, assignments planning, quality assurance, budgeting, practice development, and business planning in the functional areas under direction the country head
• Attend client meetings and networking events
• Contribute to wider practice growth and development
• Coach and mentor junior team members
• Assist in selling advisory services directly to clients

Requirements

• Willing to relocate to Oman
• Strong communicator and driven individual with a ‘go getter’ attitude
• Full time - qualified CA / CFA with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience
• Relevant experience of providing valuations, feasibility studies, due diligence and M&A. Not all four categories are essential but the candidate should, as a minimum, have valuations plus one other competency.
• Strong knowledge of business principles, valuation and due diligence concepts and financial theory
• Is comfortable preparing graphs, tables and models in excel that clearly support findings and transferring these into a formatted power point reports
• Relevant report writing skills in English
• Previous experience of managing teams
• You will have previously worked for a Big 4 or in Corporate Financial Advisory, and
• You will be fluent in English with the ability to write and present in English
