Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Work with key stakeholders to develop a group wide L&D strategy, focusing on all aspects on the employee journey.
- Deliver the strategy in conjunction with the wider business and retail training teams ensuring that all L&D needs across the organization are regularly assessed and reviewed.
- Ensure all training needs is established in the business aligned to the organizational mission and objectives.
- Ensure we deliver of our core competence and statutory-regulatory training.
- Ensure that all activities including courses, resources and systems meet those needs; that appropriate activities and resources are planned, organized, commissioned, and delivered in line with those needs.
- To lead and manage the effectiveness of our E learning and LMS system working with other key stake-holders as appropriate.
- Ensure that all activity is evaluated and developed to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
- To lead on design and delivery of the organisations leadership and management programme.
- To lead a key initiatives programme on developing our L&D agenda with utilization of the training budget and other resources as appropriate.
- To manage the group L&D, training budgets and external supplier relationships ensuring quality, cost and ethical investments are made and providing robust reporting on ROI and ROE of all activity.
- To lead on key organizational people change programmes, providing OD, L&D and engagement diagnostics and solutions.
- To lead on Engagement, OD and Engagement activity including staff surveys, Investors in People, values, cultural programmes and staff events.
- To develop and improve our competency framework in the organisation, developing key programmes of work that improve the capability of our overall business.
- To act as the key driver in our L&D agenda acting as a L&D and People Champion.
- To act as part of the senior leadership team within the People and OD team supporting the Director as required.
- To lead and manage the Training Administrator.
- Develop a suite of measurements KPIs that clearly demonstrate the impact and experience of learning within all delivery models.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in a related discipline with Post Graduate qualification in Human Resource studies / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations or related ancillary field with 8 years of relevant experience in human resource function preferably handling the Performance Management of which at least 3 years in a supervisory role within the Human Resource department Certified professional qualifications (CIPD) from reputed institutions is highly desirable.
- Master’s degree in the related field will be advantage.
