Responsibilities

• Review product specifications and delivery schedules to accurately determine the size and layout of warehouse and equipment/material storage requirements on site.
• Document overall material needs, including all codes and brands necessary to process orders.
• Adjust amounts for existing inventory and for orders of conventional sizes.
• Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
• Create and review procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
• Ensure rational distribution and delivery according to analysis reports and tracking records.
• Plan and conduct work, and may supervise the work of self and others.
• Lead project teams and participate in cross-functional collaboration.
• Inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Must have hands-on site experience in this role. This is a senior-level position requiring advanced knowledge and a specialized depth or breadth of expertise, gaining mastery in a single area or multiple broader areas of specialization. Strong ability to interact with supervisors and provide technical guidance. Work is assigned in terms of objectives, relative priorities, and critical areas that impact the work of other units. Work is reviewed to ensure policy conformity and soundness of approach.

University degree or equivalent in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. Typically, 10 years of experience is required.
