Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Efficiently & effectively plans, organises, coordinates and controls resources for QAO Flight.
- Ensure implementation of Quality Policy & Objectives for QAO Flight.
- Ensures implementation of Quality Assurance Operations Program.
- Ensures Flight & Cabin Operations, Flight Simulator Training Device, Flight Training, Flight Safety & SMS and Service Providers are in compliance with CAR OPS 1.037, ICAO Doc. 9859 & SMS Manual requirements and applicable standards.
- Analyzes and authorizes Risk- Performance based Audit Schedule in accordance with level of risk and performance factors.
- Develops & authorizes annual Audit Schedules, Audit Plans, Checklists and Reports for Flight & Cabin Operations, FSTD, Flight Training, Flight Safety, SMS, ERP, Service Providers and Operations & Engineering Interface.
- Ensures Engineering complies with Flight Operations & Engineering Interface Manual.
- Leads Quality Assurance Operations Audits, Spot Checks & Special Purpose Audits of Flight and Cabin Operations FSTD & Flight Training, Flight Safety, SMS and ERP as applicable.
- Prepares the Audit Reports based on the gathered evidence of documentation and implementation.
- Obtains from Auditee Immediate Action- Correction, Corrective Action Plan, Root Cause, Corrective Action- Prevention of reoccurrence till closure, through Q-Pulse.
- Monitors Wet Lease Audit, Code Share Audit and IOSA Audit Reports and provide feedback to SMQAO & VPQS.
- Monitors Air Safety Reports, Mandatory Occurrence Reports, Cabin Safety Report, Daily Operations Reports, Abnormal Occurrence Report, Occurrence Report, Crew Voyage Report, Service Difficulty Report & Safety Confidential Reports.
- Monitor Audit Report with regard to SMS (to include Accident & Flight Safety program).
- Monitors and facilitates Hazard Identification & Risk Management processes.
- Ensures QC process of Audit Reports is completed and Final Audit Report is authorized.
- In case of Level 1 Findings, immediately informs SMQAO.
- Ensures periodic system tracking application of corrective measures and assesses its effectiveness and suitability.
- Evaluates trends and risks, based on data collated from Audit Reports.
- Coordinates with Flight and Cabin Operations & Flight Safety to identify areas of concern & recommends improvement to Flight and Cabin Operations.
- Oversees collation, trend analysis and presentation of audit data for monthly KPI and departmental Scorecards & submit to SMQAO.
- Ensures all Flight and Cabin operations, FSTD & Flight Training operational personnel under preview of AOC has received Quality Assurance Operations Briefings which may be carried out electronically.
- Attends & presents agenda of QAOF at department management review & evaluation meetings once a month.
- Obtains and analyzes OTP minutes of meetings & provides feedback to SMQAO & VPQS.
- Is a member of Safety Action Group (SAG), Quality Review Board (QRB) & Safety Oversight Committee (SOC).
- Raises any significant or outstanding audit findings to attention of SMQAO & VPQS, followed by escalation process to SAG, SOC, QRB and SRB.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or ATPL with either 08 years of experience in Airline Quality and Safety Flight Operations including 3 years in a supervisory role OR 08 years of experience as Pilot on a Jet Type Aircrafts respectively. Qualified as a Quality Auditor Master degree in the related discipline will be advantage.
