Job description / Role
• Ensure that a comprehensive Oman Air Airline Security Policy is in place by introducing, monitoring and reviewing security procedures system-wide at all premises of Oman Air.
• Develop, introduce, monitor and review security measures, procedures and investigative methods at all Oman Air premises.
• Develop and implement access control systems, intruder-burglary alarm systems and CCTV systems if and when applicable at all premises of Oman Air.
• Investigate-direct investigations into acts of unlawful interference, thefts, frauds concerning Oman Air premises and recommend suitable action to appropriate management.
• Develop and implement, control, manage and issue a companywide ID card system.
• Train-educate all new staff on the Oman Air General Security Protocol.
• Control Oman Air General Security expenditure so that it remains within the predefined parameters of the Dept. budget.
• Liaise with all governmental security and law enforcement authorities in Oman including PACA, ROP, Immigration, Customs and other similar bodies in follow up matters pertaining to investigation related issues.
• Liaise with all other Oman Air Group Partners (Catering, Cargo, Ground Handling), including Town Office, Training, KOM, etc., in matters requiring investigation on various security issues.
• Investigate and follow up on crew - passenger issues.
• Maintain regular contacts with general management and senior management and brief them on outcome of investigation matters.
• Represent and represents the General Manager Group Security if and when required.
• Responsible for conducting Security Surveys for all sites belongs to WY whenever is required, and to raise up to GM Security the recommendations to enhance security.
• Advise GM Security in security issues concerning Properties and Investigation.
• Attend to any other duties as directed by VPS.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Business studies / Security or in a related discipline with 08 years of relevant work experience preferably in large establishment security field of work of which 03 years in a supervisory role. Master degree in the related discipline will be advantage.
