Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Coordinate with various managers in the Maintenance Department to identify individual and team business related training needs.
- Contribute in preparation of Individual Development Programs (IDPs) in conjunction with Maintenance Managers, Training Department and Performance Management Team to provide systematic guidelines towards competency enhancements of individuals.
- Develop, implement and monitor Maintenance Staff development strategy ensuring that this complements department strategic direction and business goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement People Planning, including all learning and development as per IDP, working collaboratively with relevant department (Training & HR) to meet their set goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ITQAN competency program in order to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Working pro-actively with Training Department and 3rd party Training providers to commission/develop appropriate training and interventions to improve and enhance the learning and development offer.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the organizations on learning and development, providing professional advice and support to the business and ensuring that the strategic contribution that learning makes to the organization is understood.
- Monitor and evaluate operational need, identify planned solutions on succession planning, talent management and training for Maintenance Department.
- Design and create the concerned maintenance department Task Books for technicians, Sr. Technicians, Supervisors and Engineers
- Review all IDP and link the development Plans to the task books
- Support in generating/developing learning interventions/methods
- Design clear certification system for the respective maintenance department including procedure, process, test, etc.

Requirements

- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical industry, which shall include minimum 5 years in maintenance function and minimum 5 years in training / coaching / capability development roles.
- Knowledge of internationally recognised standard operating procedures (SOPs) in process plant
- Knowledge of HR functions
- Experience in drafting and improving SOP/training manuals
- Experience in developing and implementing organizational development initiatives.
