Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Adhere to the company’s health, safety, environmental and security policies at all times and immediately report violations of these policies to Oman Air’s health, safety and environment representatives.
• Adhere to and support ISO processes, certification renewal and ensure areas of responsibility are in constant and continued compliance.
• Ensure that the laid down policies on business ethics and core values of the Supply Chain Department are implemented and followed in proper manner.
• Ensure compliance to local and international statutory laws mandated as applicable.

Primary Responsibility

• Monitor and track the list of items approved by the respective committees and keep a tab on the timelines to be achieved as part of KPI, in final authorisation of the related contracts.
• Coordinate with the respective Buyer, to identify the contact points with the vendor, for contract negotiation and resolution of contractual concerns, as defined in role objectives above.
• Ensure that standard templates designed are implemented. Any deviations to be carefully reviewed in the best interests of Oman Air.
• Ensure compliance to all the terms as approved by the respective committee.
• Prepare the CAF and final approved version of the contract for authorisation by senior management, as per the defined limits of authority.
• Alert VP SCM on any lag in established timelines and the number of instances with possible justifications on a day-to-day basis.
• Highlight any unresolved contractual concerns that might have an adverse impact on Oman Air, and chart a course on the best possible way forward in coordination with the respective Category Manager.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations like In-County-Value, guidelines issued by Omani Authority for Partnership For Development and any other similar Authority’s mandates.
• Assist in and perform any other duties as may be advised by the line manager - supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a related discipline with 02 years of relevant experience
• OR Two years college diploma in a related discipline with 04 years of relevant experience.
• OR Specialized certificate / license in the related discipline with 08 years of WY/ Aviation experience in similar functions.
