Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Ensure all technical, commercial and contractual correspondence with Suppliers-Vendors are efficiently addressed and closed out.
- To be in charge of the purchase for the Catering Department, contact suppliers, and research offers and quotations
- To be able to prepare calls for tender and follow-up procedure and in the management of any type of contracts (service, works, supplies)
- Liaise with SCM to ensure the timely delivery of quality products required at the catering unit at the lowest possible cost.
- Participate in the selection of suppliers based on a criteria
- Complies with the company’s and Ministry of procedures and regulations
- Conducts a comparative analysis on supplier prices
- Reviews and evaluates the performance of the suppliers
- Follow up with SCM to process the necessary clearance documents
- Ensure the proper management of procurement department operations and carry out all necessary procurement activities
- Responsible for internal and external interfaces during tender execution
- Verify quantification of orders
- Verify that the required order is within the agreed budget
- Prepares reports for the management such as summary schedules, proposal overviews, competitive overviews and cost-price summaries, evaluation reports, annual plans.
- Extra tasks as per Line Manager’s request in case of company need
- Submits final invoices to the Finance and Accounts Department
- To provide assistance to the organization members related with all procurement matters

Requirements

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with 02 years of relevant experience OR Two years College Diploma in related field with 04 years of relevant experience OR Specialised certificate / license in the related field with Secondary School and having 08 years of WY / Aviation experience in similar functions Special Skills & Knowledge Proficiency in English (Reading & Writing) Proficiency in MS Office. Reports generation with Analytical ability Good interpersonal skills.
