Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Below are some Operational Responsibilities;

- Optimization of resource allocation.
- Respond promptly to requests for quotes from customers and prospective clients
- Maintain good working relationships with all customers and ensure proper communication.
- Responds quickly to customer feedback and confirm corrective actions taken.
- Liaise with workshop department with a view to maintaining maximum Fleet Utilization and ensure maintenance progress is properly done.
- Maintain keen awareness of market forces with regard to Government, PDO and private sector infrastructure projects being planned, and the potential need for logistics and/or general cargo haulage services.
- Develops working relationships and forms alliances with companies with whom we can enter into sub-contract and collaboration contracts for specific ad-hoc hire services.
- Monitoring all activities of operations department.
- Ensure that journeys and deviations are monitored through IVMS and comply with ASAATCO safety procedures. Continually maintain and ensure professional supervision in all areas under control and promote safe and high work standards.
- Ensure road transport is carried out as per SP 2000(latest version).
- Very frequent visit of operational sites.
- Implement relevant SOPs for individual activities including JSA.
- Responsible for completion of jobs as agreed with clients within agreed time period and submission of work completion notes for further processing.

Salary:
OMR 2,500 to 3,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Nationality: Westerner (Preferable from UK)
Age: Maximum 45 years
Educational Qualification: Diploma or Graduate

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in working in the same position for a logistics/transport company in Oil and Gas sector, Preference will be given those having middle east experience.
- Also should have good awareness over QHSE, Any qualification/course of QHSE will be an added advantage.

Salary and Terms: OMR 2500 to 3000. This position is interior based where food and accommodation is provided by the Company

Working time: 6am to 6pm, 7 days a week
Leave pattern: 90 days work 30 days leave with air ticket to home town (Economy class)

- Proficient in interpreting schedules to ensure that realistic milestones are established.
- Ability to work with and interface with both internal and external personnel.
- Team skills to bring together multi-ethnic and multi-cultural work groups.
