Job description / Role
The purpose of the Manager Operations is to manage the operations of the Company.
The role is further responsible to work closely with Business Development in delivering growth and developing profitable new business in the Oman.
This role entails working in a challenging environment, often under high pressure and dealing with conflicting priorities.
The Manager Operations position therefore requires the individual to plan, organise, and prioritise their work in order to meet strict deadlines and provide timely and accurate information to all stakeholders.
The role will also need to influence relationships at all levels with clients.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Management and Commerce
- Post graduate studies in a technical field.
- Should have at least 20 years of experience out of which 10 years must be in the position of Operations Manager in a reputed multi-disciplined engineering firm involved in various activities like refurbishment of Oil & Gas, Steel, Metal, and other related industries and also involved in various engineering processes like machine shop, mechanical shop electrical and instrumentation etc
- Experience in business and finance administration
- Proven experience in building growth within a contract environment
- Experience in Working within the Middle East
- Significant planning experience
