Operations Manager for my clients Steel & Joinery factories which are as part of my clients overall business.
The workshops are located in Nizwa which is around 1.5 hours away from the capital area where their head offices are located.
The Operations Manager will be based in Nizwa and will have to be mobile when needed and must travel to Muscat 2 times weekly minimum for reporting to the General Manager of my client and to attend meetings with clients and the technical team whom are based in their head office in Muscat.
Report directly to the GM
- Coordination/follow up with the factory and factory staff
- Coordination/follow up with the project execution and project staff
- Coordination/follow with the technical department and technical staff
- Should be able to attend/follow sales calls
- Should be able to meet clients/consultants on regular basis
- Should be mobile as you will be expected to travel
Requirements
Arabic or Indian nationals are preference due to visa restrictions.
BSc in mechanical or Civil engineering.
12-15 years commercial experience within this specific industry and should have a strong background in joinery or steel fabrication including site installations/Projects follow up.
Excellent technical skills.
