Packaging Business Manager

The successful candidate will be working for one of prestigious Media Company in Sultanate of Oman. As Packaging Manager you'll be responsible for all of the work in the company that is related to product packaging, so you'll lead a department that provides accurate and timely provision of packaging information, new packaging development, stock management, forecasting etc. Some of the key responsibilities are:
• Management, overlooking and supervising the day to day operations in the packaging sector and related field
• Knowledge in technical aspects of the business such as material purchase, negotiation, design, contracts and tenders
• Analyze and determine all standards for packaging lines and ensure compliance to all schedule for processes and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively
• Monitor and recommend improvements in processes to increase efficiency of packaging department and monitor inventory for warehouse and maintain records of all physical transactions and prepare documents for same
• Maintain and ensure compliance to packaging schedule and assign specific tasks to all employees and monitor all packing equipment’s and supplies
• Manage all work according to packing schedule and maintain an inventory of materials and completion of all projects with required timeframe
• Develop team environment in department and resolve all packing issues in coordination with quality department
• Coordinate with plant manager and evaluate all projects and recommend ways to reduce cost and improve quality of all processes and provide necessary training and counseling to employees as per requirement

Salary:
OMR 1,200 to 1,600 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelors in related field with proven experience
• Experience in the GCC
• At least 8 years’ experience in packaging/ sales and contracts
• A good command of oral and written English
• Good knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
• Good Leadership and Management skills
