Employment: Full Time

Taylor Sterling is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to work on a long term Marine Jetty project in Oman.

The Planning Manager monitors a project's budget, inventory, and production schedule. Maintains optimally efficient inventory of production materials.

Your role:
• To establish overall coordinated execution plan for all sections;
• Obtains approval of project management of sequence and duration of activities ;
• Provides detailed plans per section;
• Establishes and upstream schedule for introduction of technical documents in accordance with coordinated planning;
• Establishes 3 weeks plan;
• Establishes catch-up programs in case of delays;
• Performs site visits to monitor the plan follow up and to report blockages;
• Monthly report to the client with photos of the progress

Requirements

• 15 years of post-graduate experience (at least 5 of them as Planning Manager);
• You should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and be an expert user of Primavera 6;
• Excellent in MS Office (especially excel);
• You are an experienced individual with a comprehensive knowledge of the contractual, legal and financial aspects of the project;
• Claims experience;
• Familiar with FIDIC form of contracts;
• The ability to work closely with all members of the project team is necessary ;
• Relevant experience in project management;
• You possess strong coordination skills in English, business development skills and excellent written and verbal communications skills ;
• Further you are rigorous, detail oriented, possess strong analytical skills;
• Proven commercial and negotiation skills with a high level of energy and a commitment to professional excellence.
