Portfolio Manager - Fintech Venture Capital Investments

Role:

Reporting to the Group Head of Proprietary Investments you will play a key role in roll out of the “Fintech Venture Capital Investments” as part of Bank’s Proprietary Investments Group. You will have a deep understanding of Technology Venture Capital Investments, as the role requires Business Development Skills and an Aptitude for creating Organizational collaborations. Play a key role in establishing and managing a Fintech Venture Capital Portfolio for the Bank, building a strong Team to ensure proficient Portfolio Management and working through Bank’s Organizational Channels to enable Collaborations and Realize other Strategic Growth Opportunities through Fintech Investments.

• Create and maintain an effective Network and establish Bank’s presence as a High Profile Fintech Investor
• Help formulate and strengthen Fintech Venture Capital Strategy of the Bank
• Lead Investment and Portfolio Management activities related to Fintech Venture Capital Portfolio

Requirements

• 5-10 years Investment & Portfolio Management experience with either a Technology Venture Capital Firm preferably with a Fintech focus or with experience of managing Corporate Venture in a Bank.
• Master’s Degree in Technology, Innovation, Entrepreneurship or relevant majors.
• Entrepreneurship experience would be added advantage
• Strong Analytical and Financial skills with sound understanding of Trending Technologies in Fintech Markets,
• Advanced understanding of Sub-Sectors of Fintech (such as Payments, & Credit) and the application of Fintech Solutions for Banking Institutions,
• Ability to work in an Organizational Framework to create Collaborations, and Strategic Investments
