Job description / Role
- Project Management of large HV & EHV Electrical Projects upto 220 KV, Comprising Power plants, sub-stations, transmission & distribution and Industrial Projects.
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
- Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations.
- Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
- Responsible for Budget Development & Cost Control, Developing Schedules, Liaoning with clients, Resource Management, Risk Analysis and mitigation.
- End to end responsibility of timely completion and Profitability.
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, manpower etc) required to complete the project.
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
- Review the quality (QA/QC) of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
- Ensuring high standards of Health, Safety & Environment.
- Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures, monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis.
- Should able to negotiate with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date."
- Ensure all the necessary statutory compliance at site.
- Able to identify subcontractors to mobilize required numbers labours at project site.To maintain worthy relationship with the clients."
- Should possess experience in both construction management and in commercial aspects like bidding - pre and post tendering.
- Knowledge in project control and monitoring will be an added advantage.
Requirements
Qualification Required
- B.E / B.Tech Electrical Engineering
Experience Required
- 18 to 25 years
- Project Management of large HV & EHV Electrical Projects upto 220 KV, Comprising Power plants, sub-stations, transmission & distribution and Industrial Projects.
- Should possess experience in both construction management and in commercial aspects like bidding - pre and post tendering.
- Knowledge in project control and monitoring will be an added advantage.
