Job description / Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Sales Engineer to join our team in Oman. This role is integral to our mission of providing innovative energy efficiency solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with exceptional sales acumen, allowing them to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to potential clients. The Project Sales Engineer will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that their energy needs are met with tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth in the energy efficiency sector.
- Identify potential clients and establish relationships with key decision-makers in various industries.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of energy efficiency products and solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to design customized solutions that meet client specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals, including pricing, project timelines, and technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress and maintain communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products to effectively position our offerings.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client needs and market demands.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote our products and services.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses in the CRM system.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of GCC experience in sales engineering or technical sales within the energy efficiency or related industry.
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency technologies, products, and services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel within Oman and occasionally to international locations as required.
