Projects Construction Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Projects Construction Manager to lead and oversee our real estate construction projects in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while complying with safety regulations and client expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from inception to completion.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and enforce site safety policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work.
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to local building codes and regulations.
- Lead and motivate construction teams to achieve project goals and maintain high morale.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects in the real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes in Oman.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office suite.
