Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The basic function of this position is to assume full responsibility for quality assurance and quality control activities of Public. This includes the execution of planned activities and the associated reporting.

- Fully understands quality requirements from current projects (Public & Private Sector) from Client and Averda perspectives.
- Assists the MR to implement Quality related requirements at averda and ensures that Quality management related requirements of QHSE-IMS are met. Ensures that non conformities are properly recorded, addressed and timely closed out
- Ensures that control of documents and records are as per averda’s QHSE IMS procedures
- Ensures that document submittal timelines are met and document reviews and approvals are carried out as per pre-determined procedures
- Promotes employee buy-in, participation & contribution to improving the Quality Management System To facilitate an effective management review process
- Provides QMS awareness training to new staff as part of the induction process
- Periodically provides refresher training to staff to enhance QMS knowledge and understanding Ensure execution of quality requirements previously identified
- Prepares inspection schedule to ensure execution of work plan as agreed with the Center of Waste Management and according Averda standards.
- Ensures the respect of working processes and procedures.
- Plans and executes all Quality audits with MR.
- Documents and Reports non conformities during inspections and audits and follow-up corrective actions
- Ensures that analysis of data related to non-conformities and quality related problems is periodically carried and actions are taken to prevent recurrence of non-conformities
- Reviews customer service report and adjust quality inspection plan accordingly.
- Compiles monthly work plan in coordination with Operation managers. Ensures it meets customer and Averda requirements.
- Compiles CWM monthly report in coordination with all stakeholders.
- Prepares all required quality management reports (non-conformities, inspection …etc.)
- Collects information and prepare monthly KPI reports for CWM and Internal KPIs
- Performs other tasks as required and other responsibilities related to position

Complies with the Health & Safety instructions:
- Responsible in exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self & others in the organization
- Responsible to comply with the applicable HSE procedures, instructions, requirements, standards received from regulatory and statutory bodies
- Responsible for reporting to superior occurrences, events, violations and acts that may impact staff health and safety or the environment

Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Safety or Occupational Health.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Health and Safety field.
- Working and implementing ISO 9001 standards
- Fluent in English; A second language is an advantage
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Proficiency in MS applications
- Job knowledge
- Good presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
