QA/QC Engineer - Instrument and Telecom Works

Job description / Role

• Awareness of project quality requirements to construction activities.
• Assisting Project QA/QC Manager / Site QA/QC Manager to develop and maintain PQP, Quality Control Procedures (QCPs) and ITPs.
• Review of Sub-contractor’s quality documents, Sub-contractor assessment and selection.
• Organizing site inspection and testing activities, reviewing and issuing site NCRs to the responsible parties and monitoring the execution of corrective actions.
• Identifying risks related to quality management and devising mitigation measures as required.
• Collecting quality issues and reporting to his direct leader and Project QA/QC Manager / Site QA/QC Manager.
• Receiving orders from Project Manager or QA/QC Manager and feedback quality information timely.
• Strictly executing inspection plans and procedures, reviewing and confirming the ITRs.
• Initiating any non-conformity discovered during the test / inspection.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Instrument and/or Communication Engineering;
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant project experience;
• Good in verbal and written english;
• Skilled in Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of Omani and International Standards and regulations;
• Be familiar with Instrument and Communication Works process;
