Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC inspector to support quality assurance and control activities on a marine infrastructure construction project in Oman. The QA/QC inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet the required standards and specifications, and will play a key role in maintaining quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

Conduct inspections and tests on construction materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.

Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved quality plans and procedures.

Coordinate with construction teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and inspection checklists.

Ensure that all quality records are properly maintained and archived.

Participate in internal and external audits and support audit readiness.

Report quality-related issues to the QA/QC officer and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction or marine infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of construction quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation practices.

Experience with LNG projects is preferred.

Familiarity with international quality standards and codes.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and reporting abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.

Additional requirements

Willingness to be based full-time on-site in Oman.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Valid passport and ability to travel as required.
