We are looking for a QC - HSE Officer to work on one of our major projects in Oman.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The main duties of the QC - HSE Officer include, but are not limited to:

- Review emergency preparedness and response, Permit to work system, Toolbox Talks, Health & Safety meetings, Health & Safety statistics & records of the contractors according to Company requirement

- Review Incident/Accident investigation reports from contractors, reporting & communicating the learning points, and monitor the immediate action and follow-up actions to minimize / prevent from re-occurrence.

- Incorporate HASP, Health & Safety legislation and other requirements, monitor Health & Safety performance, targets and suggest measures for continuous improvement

- Review Project HSE Plans, Hazard Analysis / Risk Assessments / Work Methods, for all key activities.

- Monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures on site and report issues to Lead Consultant / Engineer for immediate rectification

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

- Appropriate Diploma / Degree recognised by the relevant Industry, Association or Institute

- Licensed/registered practitioner with the recognised authority

- 10 years in HSE/QC with at least one multimillion project
