Job description / Role
- Maintain awareness of project progress and plan, with the SRE, staff mobilisation and demobilisation accordingly
- Monitor Site Staff compliance with contract requirements
- Maintain awareness of the financial status of the Project.
- Liaise with Government Authorities and contractors on a regular basis and build relationships
- Represent the Company in a professional manner
- Coordinate and uniformity of Site Staff activities
- Liaise with local stakeholders when required
- Manage project supervisory staff levels
- Liaise with all parties for site safety.
- Advise on contractual and construction matters
Requirements
- BSc or post graduate Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- 20 years in increasingly responsible positions
- The experience shall include construction of water projects, large diameter water pipelines (mainly Steel and DI). Past experience shall include successfully completing a previous projects as Resident Engineer on at least two Projects of similar nature and size of work
