Job description / Role
The Resourcing & Training Manager will ensure we maintain an efficient and skilled workforce operating effectively across all our projects. This role is crucial in enhancing the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of our directly delivered activities.
• The Resourcing & Training Manager is responsible for organizing, planning, and managing our direct workforce to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• This role also includes the establishment of a training school to ensure our resources possess the necessary skills for their roles.

• Organise recruitment and placement of required resources in coordination with the HR department.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and their teams to ensure sufficient direct resources are available to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate and monitor the production and progress of projects.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements to ensure product quality and manage employee productivity.
• Provide technical support as needed.
• Develop and implement standard productivity norms for direct resources and monitor their effectiveness across the business.
• Establish a company training school to ensure the resources have the necessary skills and training.
• Manage the movement of direct resources in collaboration with the Human Resources department to ensure sufficient resources for project delivery.
• Improve processes and policies to support organizational goals.
• Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
• Ensure adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures in line with international standards.
• Evaluate external hire companies and subcontractors for their effectiveness in working on our projects.
• Promote innovative construction methods and techniques in project delivery.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in a trade skill-related role.
• Experience in managing employee training is beneficial.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills across different nationalities.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
