Sales Manager

Job description / Role

The Sales Managers role is strategic and has the overall responsibility for maintaining and expanding all revenue streams throughout Oman. This will include leading and mentoring the indoor sales team within the retail showrooms and maintaining all current b2b accounts while prospecting for new. The position requires an individual with a strong personality that can motivate and get the best out of the sales team. Experience within a fast moving target driven environment is essential as is the willingness to carry any task set by the senior management.

• Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
• Oversee all indoor and outdoor sales teams to achieve and exceed branch targets
• Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
• Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors

• Client relationship management
• Effective planning and sales targeting
• Regularly follows up on sales inquiries.
• Collaborates with sales and management teams to effectively achieve organizational goals.
• Continuously works for organizational process improvement, providing input to the sales and management teams to refine processes and target market opportunities.
• Conduct effective product presentations.
• Updates and maintains daily sales activities and client/customer information into Sales database.
• Suggests and implements a closing business strategy related to sales
• Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
• Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensures it’s strong presence
• Recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

Salary:
OMR 800 to 1,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Additional commission structure with a realistic OMR 1500 OTE

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
• Proven leadership skills
• Must be a self-starter who can work on own initiative with minimal supervision
• Previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Committed to continuing education through workshops, seminars and conferences
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry awareness
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Fluent in English both oral and written
