Job description / Role
• The Laboratory Technician is responsible for adhering to the health and safety standards while preparing chemicals.
• It is of utmost importance that lab equipment is used safely and appropriately and students are well monitored in the lab.
• This position is accountable for maintaining laboratory facilities and keeping a well-organized stockroom for experiments.
• The technician will communicate with faculty, test and conduct experiments, develop exercises and demonstrations for the students at Al Shomoukh International School.
• A person with a vast amount of knowledge will offer technical assistance to staff and teaching assistants concerning the experiment preparations and procedures.
Requirements
• Omani Nationals
• Must have a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or a Diploma in Laboratory Sciences.
• Fluent English Speaker
• Experience is not mandatory
• Clean Background Records
• IELTS results band 6.0
About the Company
Al Shomoukh International School (SIS) is a new KG to Grade 12 global school in Muscat. Established by Global Education Services (GES) the school opened for the 2015/16 school year in Al Hail.
A new school has been constructed and, combined with an international curriculum and excellent staff, the school intends to become one of the outstanding international schools in Muscat.
