As the Senior Manager - Financial Services you will be leading and developing the carrier payments ecosystem through carrier billing and digital financial services, managing OTT partnerships and digital services development within the digital financial services function (i.e. mobile financial services (MFS), international credit transfer, carrier billing, & digital wallet) which includes creating, planning and establishing the roadmap and executing the strategy, incubating the digital financial services portfolio through the launch of mobile money, accountable for key business drivers in terms of digital services from OTT relationship revenues, gross margins, and market share and customer satisfaction. This role's main contribution is to make Ooredoo a communications market leader, with end to end responsibility over Ooredoo's payments experience.

Core Responsibilities:

You will be responsible of owning and driving programs across multiple digital commerce product lines (i.e. MFS, DoB, Digital Wallet) and departments (e.g. marketing / IT.) including all scoping with local and international business, design, recommendations and presenting results to senior management, developing go-to-market strategies, high-level business models, detailed roadmap and products proposition for Carrier billing partnerships and propositions, incubating the launch of the digital financial service portfolio by developing the mobile money project together with banks, liaising actively with central bank of Oman for securing approvals on mobile money, developing market recognition strategy for payments and carrier billing, partnering with marketing in developing customer value propositions of concepts that have been approved for development and commercialisation, effectively manages internal and external partners to ensure flawless cooperation, direct responsibilities for managing the revenues as per budget from the digital financial services and payments portfolio (International Credit Transfer, Carrier Billing, Digital Payments, Carrier Billing), leading monetisation of digital payments and carrier billing and achievement of revenue targets within budget, leading commercialisation of innovation concepts in digital payments as sustainable and profitable services, modifying existing products and services to ensure they remain relevant to customers requirements during its lifetime (Product Lifecycle Management), retiring products when they reach the end of their relevant lifetime, identifying project obstacles (risks, issues and changes in scope) and support resolution / creation of mitigation plans, reporting on escalations and obstacles to management as part of the PMO management report, preparing project dashboard to management, developing ad-hoc project assessments and reviews, presenting progress reports to management, responsible for the partnerships that contribute to each product or service within the portfolio.

Creating and managing effective cross functional working between the team and its stakeholders to ensure Time to market is on time every time.

Requirements

The Person:

- You should have a minimum of 6 years overall working experience in a related field - telecoms, digital payments, online payments, 3 years' experience functional and domain expertise with significant knowledge of product development and lifecycle management, tracking record of project execution through driving high quality cross functional teams, understanding of finance, statistics and analytics, ability to understand the market through sophisticated analysis and ability to translate the analysis into easily digestible communications and presentations.
